As a regularly funded organisation, we will always recruit for castings, creative roles, and crew members through open calls. Wil will always ask creatives to pitch their ideas for shows in response to our creative briefs which are co-created with our communities. Cumbernauld Folk Club is our brand-new monthly music night is launching in 2023, hosting a leading headliner with support from local musicians from in and around Cumbernauld. If you’re a local musician and would like a support slot, please contact programme@cumbernauldtheatre.co.uk

We are seeking four actors for our December production of UGLY! A Cinderella Story. We are looking for actors who are based in Scotland, in particular the West of Scotland. We also highly encourage submissions from all ethnicities and all gender expressions.

We aim to work with a range of actors, technicians, stage managers, directors, designers, theatre-makers and writers across the year. We have committed to supporting local talent and providing opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds. We value creativity, difference, lived experience and are committed to tackling the current underrepresentation of diverse voices across our programme.
