Connolly’s Cumbernauld Flourish

Cumbernauld People’s Theatre Company has commissioned a brand-new theatre production that celebrates the life of Billy Connolly and the ‘Big Yin’s’ links to Cumbernauld Theatre.

Did you know that Billy Connolly made his theatrical debut at Cumbernauld Theatre in 1972 with Connolly’s Glasgow Flourish? 

Cumbernauld People’s Theatre Company will update and craft stories from Connolly’s life combined with the Cumbernauld community’s personal connections, memories, and anecdotes of Billy Connolly to create a unique tribute to one of Scotland’s greatest.
