As an award-winning theatre company, Lanternhouse is where we create our own in-house theatre productions and co-productions and where we present the very best drama, music, comedy and dance from visiting artists and performing arts companies working in Scotland and further afield.
Lanternhouse is a performing arts centre jointly managed by North Lanarkshire Council and Cumbernauld Theatre, a third sector arts charity.

From Youth Theatre classes to our People’s Company, there’s something for all members of our community.
Led by leading dance practitioners, these classes provide a fun and relaxed space to develop skills in dance, choreography, or simply to improve your fitness level.
