Senior Youth Theatre

SECONDARY 1 – 3 

Cumbernauld Senior Youth Theatre offers creative drama and theatre sessions tailored for young people in early secondary school. Led by experienced theatre artists, participants explore performance-making and performance techniques, blending creativity, theatre skills, and fun. They will develop skills in acting, scriptwriting, character exploration, devising, and ensemble work. In a supportive and inclusive environment, participants can make new friends while having the opportunity to devise and create original film and theatre performances, showcased live on the Cumbernauld Theatre stage.

SECONDARY 4 – 6

Cumbernauld Senior Youth Theatre offers young people in S4–S6 the chance to devise and create innovative theatre experiences in collaboration with our experienced theatre artists. Through dynamic sessions, participants develop skills in performance-making, storytelling, improvisation, and theatre devising, all while building ensemble performance techniques.

Join a community of like-minded young people where your unique voice is celebrated and supported. Whether you aspire to be an artist, performer, musician, director, writer, or filmmaker, Cumbernauld Senior Youth Theatre provides opportunities to make new friends, innovate and create. Participants can develop their theatre and performing arts skills while presenting original films and live theatre performances on the Cumbernauld Theatre stage.
