Tragic Carpet
Ada sets off to find her long-lost brothers, and on her way encounters The Keeper, who can steal your images and keep them forever, all set upon a vibrant hand-felted landscape that becomes all sorts of terrain on earth!
This performance/installation uses an innovative mix of live puppetry; digital image capture, processing and display; projection, needle felting, and specially composed music and song. Inspired by The Brothers Grimm – the story turns on its head the usual theme of the ‘damsel in distress’.
