Chris Forbes (Compère)
Star of BBC’s Scot Squad and award-winning comedian, Chris Forbes is one of the most in-demand comics in Scotland. As well as being a regular on the UK comedy circuit, Forbes has gigged all over the world and supported Kevin Bridges on tour. Chris is an experienced host for corporate events and also an accomplished after-dinner speaker.
Chris’s other TV credits include Jonathan Creek and Mountain Goats on BBC One and Only An Excuse on BBC Scotland. He also featured in BBC Three’s Badults and received a BBC commission for his much-praised comedy character, Damien Crow. Chris is one-third of the critically acclaimed sketch group, How Do I Get Up There? who also had their own TV Sketch show on BBC Scotland. Forbes is a regular panellist on BBC Radio Scotland’s award-winning satirical news quiz, Breaking the News.

Rae Brogan
Rae Brogan is a new act based in Glasgow. Hailing from London, she has had to rely on her incisive humour and dynamic delivery to distract the Scots from her unfortunate accent. So You Think You’re Funny? 2021 Runner up.

Fearghas Kelly
Fearghas Kelly is an up-and-coming stand-up, unintentional John Lennon lookalike and disappointment from Glasgow. Praised by his favourite comedy club for his well-written material, confident delivery and audience rapport, nothing that comes out of his mouth is independently verifiable. Except that last bit which he insists he can prove.

Stephen Buchanan (Headliner)
Stephen Buchanan has been described as “a stand-up comedian” by over 4 publications, so it must be true.
In 2018 he won the Scottish Comedian of the Year competition and also became the first ever Scottish comedian to win the coveted BBC New Comedy Award. In 2021, Stephen recorded his debut BBC Radio 4 stand-up special entitled ‘Talking Shop’. You can/should listen to it on BBC Sounds!
He has also performed stand-up on Jonathan Ross’ comedy Club (ITV), Comedy Underground (BBC Scotland), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), The DriveTime Show (BBC Radio 2), The Arts Hour (BBC World Service). Stephen is also establishing himself as a promising writer with credits from Only An Excuse (BBC 1), Scot Squad (BBC 1), Breaking the News (BBC Radio Scotland), Sparks (Channel 4) and Short Stuff (BBC Scotland).
