John Gavin (Compère)
‘Hard hitting and side splitting’ (Daily Record) and ‘A Class Act’ (Chortle), John Gavin is a former Scottish Comedian of the Year and Star of BBC Scotland’s ‘Scot Squad’. A regular act at all of the big comedy chains, you can find John gigging most weekends at Highlight, Jongleurs, Glee, The Stand, The comedy Club and many smaller independent gigs throughout the UK. During the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015, Gavin was part of a regular stand-up show throughout the fringe run at the Guidedac Balloon.

Amanda Hursy

Amanda is a new and raw voice in comedy who is not afraid to speak her mind and tell it like it is. Her own experiences, misfortunes and almost triumphs are the backdrop of her unique storytelling. In her first year, she has been shortlisted for a BBC newcomer award, semi-finalist in So You Think You’re Funny 2021, Scottish Comedian of the Year semi-finalist 2021, gigging throughout Scotland, supported Gary Faulds, and performed at the iconic SEC Armadillo. Bursting onto the comedy scene she has been described as “one to watch with a great future”.

Jade Kelly

Christopher MacArthur Boyd
Fast becoming a Fringe festival favourite, Christopher’s debut hour Home Sweet Home was officially the best-reviewed of any Scottish stand-up at the Edinburgh Fringe. He has followed this up by winning Best Breakthrough Act at the 2019 Scottish Comedy Awards and being listed the 59th funniest person in Scottish history, on a list of 60. Christopher co-stars in BBC Scotland’s Up For It. Other TV credits include hosting BBC Scotland’s The Comedy Underground. Christopher has also made appearances on BBC Scotland’s Breaking The News, BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Stands Up At The Fringe. and BBC Radio 4’s Fred at The Stand, and Evil Genius with Russell Kane.
