This brand-new monthly music night hosts a leading headliner with support from local musicians from in and around Cumbernauld. The theatre bar is also open throughout the night of joyously irresistible music. So, thig a-steach – come in and enjoy yourself!
Savourna Stevenson and Steve Kettley
Clarsach virtuoso Savourna Stevenson joins forces with old friend and saxophonist Steve Kettley in a blend of haunting melodies, pulsating rhythms and stirring improvisations. Savourna is known for breaking stylistic barriers while maintaining her Scottish roots, while Steve leads interprets the music of avant-rock legend Captain Beefheart. He also performs regularly with former Scottish national poet Liz Lochhead.
The night will also feature support from local musicians Julie Anne McCambridge and John Thompson.
