Robert Burns is living the dream: unshackled from earthly constraints, he’s spending eternity in a ‘dead poet’s society’ jousting with a plethora of poetry A-listers.
But when his Italian counterpart, boozy bachelor poet Giovanni Pascoli comes along, Rabbie’s (after)life choices are brought into question. With wit, music, and fierce debate, they clash over art, freedom, legacy and even their very destiny. The Badly-behaved Poets’ Society is a hilarious and thought-provoking celebration of creativity which illuminates the human side of two literary icons.
