We are delighted to be hosting the return of The Homebird Sessions with award-winning singer-songwriter, Elaine Lennon and guests at Lanternhouse – dubbed by The Herald as ‘A must for music fans and writers everywhere … relaxed, warming and welcoming’.
In the first of these sessions for 2022, Elaine will be in concert and conversation with Nico Ev, as they take turns to share songs from their latest releases and personal stories from their musical journeys.
A firm favourite in the Glasgow music scene, Nico delivers an enchanting and memorable performance of her original material with her distinctive blend of melodic lines and potent lyrics.
In this session, the coveted Homebird ‘Showcase Artist Slot’ will be taken by Hannah Meg Carroll.

Award-winning singer-songwriter, Educator & TEDx Speaker Elaine Lennon (pictured below) originally created the online version of The Homebird Sessions at the start of lockdown in 2020 with the aim to connect with and talk to people who can open both hearts and minds through music.
Each show includes an exciting opportunity for an aspiring singer-songwriter to join Elaine and her guest on stage to perform one of their original songs in the coveted Homebird ‘Showcase Artist Slot’.
