Time Machine Street Theatre Workshop

Join us for a street theatre workshop!

This free workshop will take place in our Main Auditorium followed by an opportunity to perform for the public at the Lanternhouse foyer. The workshop will be led by The Time Machine creator and cast member Melanie Jordan, a trained performer, director and theatremaker based in Glasgow. Melanie is also a Physical Theatre Practitioner with Surge – supporting street arts, physical theatre and circus in Scotland – where she has directed, choreographed and performed in a number of their productions, as well as running Scotland’s largest street theatre festival, Surge Festival.

This workshop is suitable for youth theatre participants, community drama group participants and the general public. No theatre experience is necessary and the performance piece will be family-friendly and fun for all ages. The recommended age is 12+

Please note that this workshop will take place before a performance of The Time Machine from 1.30pm. All participants can claim a £5 ticket to watch the show.
