Bringing together two wonderful guitarists who have performed all over the world, Gypsy Meets Classic presents a sophisticated and hugely entertaining cut above.
Yuliya Lonskaya from Belarus (Mogilev) brings an eclectic repertoire of folk, jazz, bossa nova, Baroque and Romantic music, as well as classical pieces, all arranged in her own fresh and unique style. Meanwhile, Lulo Reinhardt from Germany (Koblenz) is a world-class gypsy-jazz guitarist and the grandnephew of legendary Django Reinhardt. While he has the repertoire of gypsy swing you might expect, Lulo has extended his musical horizons to include influences from North African and Indian music.
