The future is exciting at Cumbernauld Theatre as we continue to develop our programme at Lanternhouse, our purpose-built arts venue in Cumbernauld.
Cumbernauld Theatre is a well-established producing theatre and charity, delivering a vibrant programme of visiting theatre and arts events, cinema and community arts engagement. We believe in the transformative and empowering potential of the arts and are committed to making a meaningful contribution to the community we serve.
As we continue to develop an innovative, engaging and relevant programme for Cumbernauld, we are seeking a number of new Board members to join our committed team of members and staff. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills, experience and perspective, and to help shape the next stage of our development.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with strong communication skills and an understanding of business planning, alongside knowledge of the arts sector in Scotland, arts funding policy and fundraising. Experience in management or HR, legal work, policy development or education would also be valuable and transferable to our work. Experience of working in theatre or the performing arts would be an advantage.
We welcome applications from people who can bring different perspectives, skills and experience to our Board and who share our ambition for the future of Cumbernauld Theatre and Lanternhouse.
