Eriska is a 6 piece folk-fusion band established in 2016 hailing from Glasgow. Eriskas’ unique folk sound is characterised by the members’ diverse musical backgrounds and the wide range of styles they pull influence from. They combine rock, jazz and various folk styles to create a distinctive sound using both traditional tunes and band members’ original compositions. With musicians from Argentina and the USA as well as Scotland, they blend many musical traditions together to make a fresh kind of Scottish music.
With a huge wealth of talent and creativity between them, Eriska will be a band well worth watching out for on the live circuit.
