Local links

Our Local Links programme offers discounted tickets to people living in eligible postcode areas across North Lanarkshire, helping make it more affordable to enjoy cinema and live events at Cumbernauld Theatre.

Local Links is available to residents living in eligible North Lanarkshire postcode areas, identified using the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD).

When booking online, enter your postcode as part of the booking process. If your address is eligible, enter LOCALLINKS in the Discount Code box to access the reduced ticket price.

You can also book through our Box Office, where our team can check your eligibility and apply the discount for you.

Eligible residents can save up to 60% off standard ticket prices, subject to a minimum ticket price of £4. The level of discount may vary between events and performances.

Local Links tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each eligible customer can purchase up to two Local Links tickets per event.

Local Links is available for all of our cinema screenings and a selection of live events throughout the year.

This includes selected theatre, dance, folk and contemporary music performances, as well as selected off-peak performances of our Christmas show.

Look out for the Local Links ‘L’ symbol on eligible events in our brochure and online.

By phone or in person: Our Box Office team can check your postcode and apply the available Local Links discount to your booking.
