Cumbernauld Theatre Trust has been part of the community for over 60 years, providing theatre, cinema, music and creative opportunities for people of all ages.
After our application for continued Creative Scotland multi-year funding was unsuccessful, the Trust now faces an urgent financial shortfall. Without additional support, we will not be able to continue beyond next year.
To stay open, we need to raise £300,000 by the end of this year, with £50,000 coming directly from community donations.
If Cumbernauld Theatre Trust cannot continue operating, your donations will be used to support cultural activity in Cumbernauld delivered by other registered charities.
A small donation can make a big difference – directly help those living in poverty in our community – you help by subsidising their ticket price
Make a little go a long way – directly help provide access to theatre for people with special needs and physical disabilities – you help by subsidising their ticket price
Make a mark on tomorrow today – directly support our Youth Theatre classes and help give young people the chance to learn Theatre skills
Give the gift of song – directly support our musical theatre classes and help give young people the confidence to sing
Give generously and support the creation of new work for the under 5’s – you help by funding actors and writers to make new work that nurtures imagination and creativity.
