Join The Cumbernauld Complaints Choir

A Town for Tomorrow is a celebration of Cumbernauld, created by the community, for the community.

No experience needed

You don’t need any acting or singing experience, just a willingness to join in, learn a few songs together and share the stage with others. Together, you’ll help bring the stories of Cumbernauld to life.

Who it’s for

• Anyone aged 18+
• All voices and all backgrounds welcome
• We particularly encourage applicants from underrepresented backgrounds
• Community members local to Cumbernauld

What to expect

• Weekly relaxed rehearsals with our friendly Choir Director  
• Simple songs taught by ear (no sheet music required)
• Taking part in the performances of ‘A Town for Tomorrow at Cumbernauld Theatre October 2026

Date & Times

• Cumbernauld Complaints Choir will meet weekly Wednesdays at Cumbernauld Theatre from 19 Aug – 24 Oct
• In October ahead of the performances, the choir will also meet on a Saturdays.  
• There will be dress rehearsals that is essential to attend before the performances themselves.
