Led by Amanda Glover and Fraser Morrison, Operation: LEGACY is a community project, in which young writers, devisors and performers are invited to create a piece of performance work which will be showcased in our Main Auditorium. We will collaborate with a local composer/musician and a movement director to explore the wealth of storytelling possibilities which this topic brings to the table.
This project is aimed at young people aged 14-24 with an interest in the creative industries and will cater for performers as well as young people who are interested in technical theatre, set/costume design, producing, writing and music performance.
The project content will be created over four development days, led by the creative team:
Young people can be involved in all or a selection of these dates and participation in the development days does not commit the participant to performance.
Following these development days, the creative team will collate the work explored and curate a basis for the performance piece.
An intensive rehearsal period to produce the performance with the participants will take place from Monday 3 April to Friday 7 April, and Monday 10 April to Friday 14 April. The public performances will take place in our Main Auditorium from Wednesday 12 to Friday 14 April 2023.
