We’ve got some exciting news to share! This year we’re presenting two brand-new festive productions in our Main Auditorium and Studio Theatre. Tickets will be on sale from Friday 31 March, but you can secure your tickets now by becoming a Friend.
In our Main Auditorium, we’ll be presenting UGLY! A Cinderella Story, a Cumbernauld Theatre Company production written by Gary McNair, directed by Jo Rush, with music by Brian O’Sullivan. Join us on a magical makeover journey with the Ugly Sister and the Fairy Godmother as they discover that true worth is on the inside, not the outside. This delightfully daft festive treat is set in the magical world of Wondernauld and is suitable for ages 7+.
In our Studio Theatre, we have Special Delivery, presented by Cumbernauld Theatre Company, Visible Fictions and Scottish Opera, with music by Karen McIvor, written by Clive King, and directed by Dougie Irvine. Join Santa on his busiest night of the year as he travels the world delivering presents and encounters a tiny mischievous hitchhiker who is looking for a way back home. This enchanting musical journey is created for little ones aged 3-7.
Tickets for both shows will be on sale from Friday 31 March, but you can book your tickets now by becoming a Friend. See dates and tickets below or become a Friend today.
Did you know Billy Connolly made his theatrical debut at our previous home, The Cottage Theatre? Our very own People’s Theatre Company is creating a brand new production, Connolly’s Cumbernauld Flourish, celebrating his life and his special connection to the town. We’d love your memories to be part of it.
